Program Information & FAQs
This program is recommended for individuals with at least two years of professional experience developing and implementing LoRaWAN® and/or have completed LoRa Alliance® endorsed trainings. This exam will test your advanced knowledge of the LoRaWAN® Specification and Technical Recommendations, which are linked in the Education Resources section below.
The LoRa Alliance has the right to use of discretion in developing materials and administering the test. This test will change overtime and incorporate new questions as the standard continues to evolve with feature releases.
The exam must be completed in one 90 minute session.
You must receive a score of 80% or higher to pass. If you do not receive a passing grade on the Test on your first try, you will be eligible to take the Test one additional time without paying an additional fee within a 90-day period following the date of your first Test. If you re-test later than 90 days following your first test, you will be required to pay the then current testing fee and begin the process as an applicant again.
If you pass the Test, your designation as a LoRaWAN Accredited Professional will begin upon notice to you from the Alliance, and will continue for a period of two years unless earlier terminated under the terms of this Agreement. In order to retain your status as a LoRaWAN Accredited Professional past the two-year accreditation period, you will need to re-test by taking the following actions: pay current testing fee to the Alliance, take and receive a passing score on the Test, and reaffirm your commitment to and compliance with the requirements of this Agreement. You should begin the re-testing process in advance of the expiration of the two-year accreditation period to avoid a gap in your status as a LoRaWAN Accredited Professional.
